What do you class as a large dog?

A boxer is classed as a meduim sized breed right?.
But all i hear everyone says'' o that's a big dog '' or ''hes a big boy''
My question to you is what do you class as large dog??

I have always thought a dog 30kgs and up is a large dog, but I might be mistaken. Some tall dogs look big, but are quite light when weighed.

I would call a boxer a medium dog

For me when I think of large dogs I think Newfies, g danes, irish wolfhounds, bernese etc

Good question,
Bassets are classed as large dogs...
more weightwise than height im guessing!

GSD size and bigger to me is a big dog - I have a large BC and a small Lab who to me are medium sized dogs but people always say they are big ...
My Mal is a big dog - heavy as well as tall

and Pixie ... she's micro!

My NI Morse was 35kg but only 27in tall, I wouldn't have called him a large dog (although he was the biggest dog I have ever owned!!)
