Poppy Shakespeare

Did any one see the Drama on Channel 4 last night called 'Poppy Shakespeare'.

I thought it was good, sad and poignant, but still good.

What does everyone else think?

Dan.

I watched it until 10pm. What happened in the end?

Poppy went mad in the end - her husband took custody of their little girl. They used Poppy as a social experiment to 'measure her against the others mental illness.
The last scene showed her in bed, on the top floor of the centre with her eyes closed and her mouth open. She just wasn't there anymore. I'm sure they will repeat it - it reminded me of a modern day 'One flew over the cukoo's nest' Shame you missed the ending. Dan. x

Thanks for reply Dan. It sounds like I should have hung on a bit longer.

I really enjoyed it, I thought it was very well done.
It reminded me of "One flew over the cuckoos nest" too
