Breeding hairless dogs.

whats your opinion - its being talked about on another forum, and some people have some (IMO) slightly odd opinions towards the breeding of hairless dogs.

SO whats your opinion - be honest to, I dont think your opinions could get any rudier/weirder than the others lot!

Are we talking CC`s and Mexican hairless??

if so , they they may not be my cup of tea, but they are old breeds so dont see why they should not continue.

If people want a bald dog they can get a hairless chinese crested or a mexican hairless, think i've got that right (I get muddled & confused easily)

If you mean breed a big bald dog, like somesort of hairless labrador, collie, or old english sheepdog. Sorry for laughing but it does conjure up quite a cartoon like image.

Sounds like someone is trying to go one step further than the labradoodle & make a name for themselves.

I think Sphinx cats are hairless - you can also get hairless rats.

I would want a hairless if I had a CC! Nothing wrong with breeding naturally hairless dogs.

Yes I am on about the Xolos, The CCs and other established breeds that can come in a hairless variety.

I saw my first pics of Mexican Hairless in my teens when I read about them in my local library. I think they were originally imported here in the 1960s by someone who bred Chihuahas.

I like the look of them - but only ever having touched on bald dog (hair loss through illness) who felt strange I don't know if I could own one
