The police are using a trainee police dog puppys pic on their advert for a new phone number and muslims are complaining because they feel offended

It really winds me up how we are being walked all over.

Sorry but they have come to a country where dogs are a large part of our lives and our culture, either they get used to it and accept it, or they find somewhere else to live. Why should we forfeit our way of life??

I have NO problem with muslims wearing head scarves or their traditional wear, nor do I have a problem with them praying 5 times a day but in return, they should allow us to live our lives the way we do.

How welcome would we be if we went to their country and wore our traditional clothes or complained about their way of life??

The sad thing is, this doesn't reflect all muslims accurately anyway, the foster dog I had has gone back to live with his mum who is sharing a house with a muslim girl who has accepted him fine.

I seriously hope that one day a police dog could help the muslims concerned and the police choose not to send it in for fear of making the muslims 'unclean'.
