I agree i would be careful with small kidlets as boxers can be very bouncy dogs!

I'd say the same...boxers can be very boisterous and can knock young children over.

Mark just a thought : could you visit boxers in and out of their natural environments to get an idea of their characters?
good luck

Boxers are bouncy like Tigger in Winnie the Pooh!!! But I wouldnt think twice about having a Boxer if I had young children, Labradors and most other medium breeds are just as boisterous and they soon learn their boundaries with proper training.

We got Star our first boxer when my youngest was 5 years. Boxers are well known for their love of children although they can easily knock a young child over when excited. I know of people that have boxers and very young children and have no problems.

I dont think they are any more boisterous than other dogs of the same size
