I think a loud complaint is in order Chris as you are told one thing and then another happens. If they want Gary in the flat asap then they need to help you with giving you a key or leaving it unlocked.

Lovely walk early this morning and ironing done, Off to Ben's shortly to look after the girls as he has a hospital appointment for a scan.

Evening all

Well, after a very firm complaint, the door is left open and the key is locked in the Care Manager's draw so hopefully things will go well. She says she can't give me a key until he signs the new lease by law, but as this is all their bloody fault it's crazy

They have now changed it from assisted move to managed move which means no help with getting him into the new flat (yet another complaint)

After a frantic couple of days, the painter is coming tomorrow and Sunday and the carpet fitters will fit the carpets on Thursday. Kev with his 'handy van' will come on Saturday and move him lock, stock and barrel.

I've got a hectic week packing coming up, but hey, it's sorted (fingers crossed)
