About me
I am a teacher by profession but am in the process of being 'retired' due to ill health - struggling with ME. I aim to keep myself as fit as possible so I strive to walk the dogs as often as I can for as long as I am able, until I recover a better level of health. Obviously I am stuck indoors quite a lot with my illness and my dogs are a huge comfort and are welcome companions for me (although I worry about what they might do if I was able to return to work)! I am trying to focus on all positive aspects of my life as I think this is much better for my health and of course my dogs are both a focus and a great positive for me! I also enjoy writing and would like to explore blogging as a means to work from home until I can regain full [working] strength. Glad to chat with anyone who feels like it :-)
