About me
Have been a dog lover all my life, but not allowed pets as a child. Have had a dog since Patch turned up on our doorstep (literally) 22 years ago. Patch was 15 yrs old and going blind when we bought Amber as an eight week old pup from a neighbour; she is a crossbreed and a lovely dog. Sadly Patch had to be euthanised some three years ago and it was clear that Amber was missing her, so we relented in July 2011 and bought Gem (our GSD) from happy endings rescue centre. She was so ill when we first got her that we spent over £1000 on vets fees to get her well. She is now 11 months old and is as fit as a fiddle.
