Dogsey

Our first dog is a resue. It took us a long time to get a dog , even though we wanted one, because we live in a condo (big) with three cats and two teenage girls. My husband thought it was a bad idea, but we finally went ahead and adopted "Daisy" from K9Pals. Best thing we ever did for our family togetherness. We go places together (beach, traveling) and our lives seems to center around being with each other and the "dog". At first "Daisy" was rather wild and energetic. We did some training with a professional. It seemed rather hopeless at the time, but now our dog is much easier (did she train us?). Did a DNA swab test and find that Daisy is 37-74% Dalmatian, 10-19% Border Collie, 10-19% Germain Pointer, 10-19% Papillon, and less than 10% west highland Terrior. And all this time we thought that she was a lab/border collie!. She is 30 lbs., all black with a little dalmatian star on her chest and some paw tips. Cutest face with floppy small ears, smallish head, and big chest with trim body. Absolutey loves to run , and tries to engage (certain) other dogs to chase her. Not terribly social with new people or new dogs. Watchdog. Wants to be with us all the time (except for sleeping), and does not particularly like to be outside if it is cold or wet in the least bit (we are from Santa Barbara, so that isnt much cold or wet either). She did have a microchip in her , but the ph. # came back as no longer in service. Our gain.
