My story is really none of your business. What I will share is that I have owned dogs since I can walk... I grew up amongst dogs from my parents who owned dogs to help them with their stock animals [cattle] and from my grandparents [who live in Russia]. I myself live in Germany, own and breed Phalenes in Germany, and usually stay in Germany. I came to the States merely to complete my Master's degree. I've owned the following dogs: Loki, black and white split eyed Alusky [Malamute x Siberian] named for his personality. Berserker, bi colored DDR/Czech GSD. He is now owned by my brother and has extreme titles as well as his mother... not a UK / American sort of GSD. Noc Stopař - Night Stalker, a Czechoslovakian Wolfdog. I and my brother learned a lot from this female dog type who would treat us much like a mother dog would a pup, have some scars from a too-zealous nip. Simba, Catahoula Leopard Dog. Grandfather's dog, he was American. Currently: Hunter, 28" tall at shoulder, short/medium hair with a slight curl, brindle markings on a cream body... he's a Woldhound x Collie with some Borzoi in the bloodline that I adopted from the local pound when he was 3 and is about 6 to 7 now. Sheila, 8 year old black & white show quality Phalene [the drop earred Papillion] female, agility dog. Broken Wings, aka Moth, a 18 month old tri colored Phalene. Spoiled rotten, haven't really trained her... she was more my mother's dog. Cookies & Cream, aka Cookie, is a 4 year old landseer Newfoundland. He is a big boy, overweight at about 200lbs, though the vet says that is more his bone stature than anything. He is terrified of water due to a run in with a sprinkler as a puppy and I more or less have to wrestle him into the tub or kiddies pool to get him to have a bath... a 200lb dog to a 145lb woman, who do you think wins? Katsumi, 10 week old sable Pomeranian. My Christmas present from my cousin.
