Dogsey

I've been into dogs for years, and have owned one in the past. In the past 4 years I haven't owned a dog - and still don't, though I plan in searching for breeders toward the end of the year. I'm currently doing my research on Retrieving breeds, as well as Dog Behaviour, Training, Training Techniques, What to do and what not to do, Raising puppies, Breeding, Showing, The Right Breed For Me and many others. :-) I never was a doggy-person, but when I had to rehome my first/last dog, I began doing more research, looking into breeds, and became interested in Agility / Flyball, Obedience, Ralio, etc, etc...Though I don't have any dogs to do those things with! I occassionally dog-sit a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, Lab / Weim. mix, countless Jack Russells, two Shih Tzu's, a Labrador and a German Shepherd. :-) I prefer larger breeds, though all dogs have a piece of my heart! I'm looking forward to bringing home a Male Golden Retriever puppy when that wonderful day comes, though anything could happen between now and then (as I don't exactly know when 'then' is...) I could end up bringing back a rescue Chihuahua with a sleek, short black coat...Can't get two breeds more different lol! I signed up mainly to learn as much as I could from experienced owners, instead of just books & online searches. Looking forward to meeting a few great people. :-) Kim
