We have an indigo collar tag and I've chucked that in the washing machine quite a few times. It still looks great and was well worth the money

I also sell engraved tags in my shop for £2.50 each. I don't get why people charge more for hand engraved tags, it's daylight robbery.

A few years ago I went to our local key cutters / engravers for three new tags and I got moaned at because he gets a sore hand from doing three in a row. Stop doing engraving then you moaning old git!
Where do you get an engraver from. The machines are really expensive. I would love to make my own .

Hubby said no, it would mean extra petrol and car parking charges.
He got his money back and came home.

I went on Amazon and ordered a tag from Pet Tag Engraving and Spoilt Rotten Pet Products.
Tag engraved both sides of a brass bone with all I wanted, ordered 27th Dec, arrived 29th Dec, £5-99 including postage
And they wonder why the town centres are dying
I can understand her saying to finish off your shopping in town and then come back to collect them but fancy telling you that you would have to come back again another day, after you'd paid her as well. Silly woman.

We got Max's current one done in the PAH machine when we moved 6 years ago, it did it there and then and it is still going strong!

I'm not a fan of the metal engraved ones, i've always found that the engraving becomes illegible so I now have the embossed ones for the every day collars.

I have some plastic engraved ones for their 'posh' collars but they will never get properly tested as they are for best wear only!

Mine have "Tattoo'd, micro chipped and Neutered" on one side. The other has my surname and my mobile. Then "VET" and his number underneath.
I figured it would be easy for someone to dump my dog at the vet and my vet is totally cool about it.
