Griff, a 3 months old puppy 'aggressive' what planet were they living on. Probably had a bad start in life and didn't know any different, but it is soon changed at that age, I've even turned a dog around at 18 months old, took me over a year to get her to a stage where I could rehome her with someone able to carry on with what I had started, but I did it. Like you say it is all down to socialisation and initial training, if they don't get that, then it is a hard job, but not impossible, the majority of them are scared sh!tless because they have no idea of the outside world or other people.
Right, got the address now of the Man Who Can, so ringing breakdown recovery and he is taking it in on Saturday.
Not moved from the couch for a while, must do that otherwise I may well take root. Sun is out now, you might know

Tawneywolf, i was kotas third home, she was 10 weeks when i got her and the nurse commented how sweet she was.... i have been going to that practice for nearly 20 years and consider them friends.... i just said to him "you wouldn't think she was so sweet if you had seen her last week, she was biting really bad and is the worst pup i have ever had.. it wasn't normal mouthing either" next thing, petplan ring us and ask "have we mentioned behaviour to the vets" as far as we were concerned we hadn't as it was past tense.... i wasn't asking for help or advice from the nurse, turns out he put down "has shown aggression at home" petplan told me to go and get a report done from the vet so she went in for a morning and played with everyone, met cats, dogs and a guinea pig no trouble at all, sent that report off to petplan who sent back her policy with third party excluded and behaviour excluded... i spoke to them and they said that if she slipped her lead and got into a car accident they "may" cover her, firework fear they "may" cover her...... obviously "may" cover is no good i need it all in black and white so i had to cancel the policy, i have taken out 3rd party insurance via dogs trust and have pet insurance but no doubt she won't be covered when they get her history off the vet

Just spoke to the breakdown recovery again, and it was the same person as before, and she said terribly sorry I should have explained, you have to ring us on the day you want it moved...so got to wait till Saturday to ring them now!!!
Guy sounds pretty positive he'll fix it, won't let anything beat him apparently, so hopefully mine won't be a first!
Feel like a ton weight has lifted from my shoulders, at last I have a light at the end of the tunnel, and its NOT a train coming.
Aw poor Kota, she must have been in a real state with all the changes of home and you don't know what went on where she was born either, I can't bear to think about some of the stuff that goes on, makes my blood boil
Just goes to show that you can condemn yourself out of your own mouth without realising it!

You have flown far more than I have griff..

My last flight was to Dublin from a small offshore Scottish island via Edinburgh in three planes each larger than the one before.

In younger days Continental holidays were by car ferry and driving.

A different world is mine and no desire or energy to go places, apart from my days away.

Had that kind of thing done to me more times that I care to remember and really everywhere the less said the better.

My two never meet anyone or any dogs and never will. Just my unusual lifestyle. My landlord feeds them if I am in hospital and while collie is OK with him, wee dog is a very different matter.

Do you know, I hadn't, but it's a good idea, thanks. I have put together a bag of Carys' outgrown uniform for a charity shop so I can have a browse when I'm there.

I am getting worried about stock getting low so I went on a panic buy and re-bought the ones I took back, just in case. My OH now thinks I've completely lost it.

BUT at least Michael WILL have trousers and proper grey ones too, not his PJs June.
