Heavy showers here most of the morning, but have managed to everything done and sorted before the massive one we are in the middle of at the moment.
Not cold at least and it keeps brightening up, then goes dark, then the rain comes down, then it brightens up....
Having a butty and cup of tea then going to have a clean up outside as its bin day tomorrow. Also got the rest of the plants to plant in the trough thats still vacant, its piled full of old plastic pots at the moment, but they can go in the bin for tomorrows bin men as I've nowhere to put them even if I wanted to keep them, which I don't.
Lovely you've done 7 miles already Helena, and you can sleep the sleep of the righteous this afternoon can't you.
The finger will probably get better than it is now over time, I remember when I had my frozen shoulder sorted out under anaesthetic, I said to the physio I still hadn't got the full range of movement I was used to and he said I actually had a better range than he did and was almost double jointed, over the years I have more or less got the full range back, maybe not quite, but near as makes no difference. I would have gone to the physio if I were you, just to tick the box mainly and say yep been there, done that, and then no one can say...'ah but if you'd gone to physio...' like with my broken wrist, I was doing one heck of a lot better than anyone else when I got my first session and it makes you realise how much more you actually do than a lot of people.
Linda, I do hope poor Michael get his new trousers, otherwise he'll be at school in his pj bottoms
Sue that sounds just like heaven where you're going, and you need it after all the aggro of builders, plumbers, window men and the like, bet you can't wait to get on the plane. I really do hope that bath appears very soon, do you have a shower to be going on with or are you confined to the washbasin, which is always very limiting to say the least
Brenda, great to hear that you've got a lot of pups coming into training classes, I am red hot on it myself, and it is actually a condition of my puppy contract that they take their pup to classes and achieve a minimum standard. I know I can't force them, but I do discuss the whys and wherefores and the reason it is in my contract, with all the new legislation it is more important than ever that people realise their responsibilities not only to the general public at large, but to the large breed puppy they have just taken on. I think the majority of us on here have suffered annoying episodes with other dogs. Helena can tell a few tales
4L have a good day and be gentle to yourself, maybe a late start/early finish is on the cards, with an hour for lunch
Eileen, when you've finished tidying, purleese pop over because I'm not motivated one jot, and I need to be.
Oh News On The Car, had a phone call this morning to arrange getting it over to First Man Who Can Do It.
Need to take deep breaths and Be Brave and ring breakdown recovery and hope they will do it for me like they said they would, but there's a time lapse and am worrying like crazy that they won't

Well done TW you have done well today. Hope the breakdown people oblige with a lift for the car.

You are alright we don't smell as we have an ensuite shower so have all amenities whilst the bathroom is out of action Bath now here plumber went and collected it himself when it should have been delivered! Tiler due in on Monday and I think the electrician is here tomorrow to connect the shower pump and the shaver/light. So at last we have progress.

Looking forward to going on holiday but not the 11hr plane journey and that is direct!

Good luck with the car TW, hope the recovery service honour what they said. I see the training is part of the adoption contract for a lot of rescues now and you have to have it in place before they agree to the adoption, Dakota is a gumtree pup and i wasn't going to take her but after all the agro with the nurse putting in her notes she had shown aggression and petplan writing off a 3 month old pup as aggressive and refusing full cover i decided to take her to classes... never took a dog of mine as a pup to classes as i socialise them very well (i treat them like guide dog pups, they have to go to shops, on the bus, near the kids schools etc) and until this one managed quite well to train them, i am so glad i have taken her though, i have a fab training team, a friendly bunch of people who are so patient with her and she has an awesome set of friends at "school"
just attempting to make cheese onion and potato pasties for mine and my dads tea.... god knows what he will have with it

I hope they have some decent films for you to watch, when I went to Sri Lanka I got playing a couple of games as well, and slept a bit etc. Long flights are so well - long. Fingers crossed there's no kids running up and down and screaming the place down, because you cannot get away from them.
Breakdown Recovery WILL collect my car, Oh Joy
