Piriton for Dogs

Has anyone used Piriton for their dogs to help with skin problems and hot spots?

My Australian Terrier suffers with sore hot spots from time to time, particularly at this time of year. I have been using steroids in the past, but dont like using this treatment for too long. What would the dosage be for a 10kilo Terrier?

I used to use them on my itchy dog, but please remember you must get the right ones, i.e. the cheaper ones, not those expensive ones which do NOT make them drowsy, you want the ones that DO make them drowsy ok, and good luck, give as many as you are allowed, it will calm it all down.
