Buddy, 18 month old JRT X Staffie needs home!

Buddy is a true Buddy even his breed type is a merger of all the best in the Collie and the Jack Russell Terrier. He is smooth coated and stands taller than a Parsons Jack Russell -size of a female collie. He has intelligence; good looks and connectiveness. One of the many Welsh strays never claimed but you can't help but think .. 'your loss'. Buddy will go on to acquire a devoted family that cares and in fact centres around his needs. He is about the 18 month age as far as we can ascertain. He is in good health though his coat looks dull so needs a quality diet and a lifestyle to optimize his obvious vitality.

Buddy enjoys his walks but we've yet to assess him near traffic; joggers etc. He relates to his companion and suggests with bonding and training he will come off lead in safe places .. no guarantees .. as ultimately his safety and security have to be paramount and he was found stray. His pictures show how he regularly checks and waits for his companion on the other end of the lead to catch up; come and join in the fun! Our assessment is Buddy will bond fast .. and may cling in the first few weeks of homing until he learns to settle, trust and accept his home surrounding and the stability it offers him. So if you want a terrier you have a calmed version with biddability; if you want a collie you have the terrier personality coming through with cheek and challenge! Buddy is newly neutered and first vax'd. He will now be chipped; wormed and flea treated. Better hurry we move very fast as a rescue and Buddy doesn't intend to stay with us long!
