Spare a thought

Pat's best friend of 43 years is having a operation on Christmas Eve for prostrate cancer.
He's been dogged with ill health for a few years, having survived 3 heart attacks, and a stroke.
Just as things looked like they were going well he has now been struck down again.
Something tells me that he is feeling that he won't come through it,with the way he was talking, tonight, I know Pat would be devastated if he doesn't.....so hopefully a few dogsey well wishing vibes, will bring him safely round.

Thanks for listening.

Oh how sad

My thoughts are with him, they really, really are.

When I had been seriously ill and nearly died a few times I began to think I wouldn't be as lucky next time - but I was.

Now I look at it as, if you've nearly been killed off so many times but you've come through it, why on Earth should this time be any different?! There's got to be a reason for keeping you here!

My thoughts will be with him on Christmas Eve xx

Life can throw us a few googlies (sorry about the pun) only trying to cheer you up
We all have an inate desire to conquer adversities that life throws at us.
Your friend must have strenght and a will to fight whatever life throws at him
I will include him in my prayers and especially on christmas Eve.
Just let him know that there are people out there that care and wish him all the good things in life. Be strong and think positive thoughts.

Wishing him well and good vibes.
Same for Pat as well it is hard when some one that close has these hurdles to get over.

Sorry to hear this Steph. Can't help agreeing with Lottie though - Pat's friend seems to be a fighter and hopefully he'll overcome this hurdle to.

Hugs to you all.
