Archie

I know I don't come on here very often anymore and if I do, it's normally to post a fun update about my boys. I never thought I'd come on to post in this section.

My lovely dog Archie was carried away by strong currents in a river yesterday and hasn't been seen since.

I don't know what else to say... I'm so shocked...

My heart goes out to you, such a dreadful thing to happen.

I know you have to fear the worst, but I do hope that somehow he has managed to get out safely further down the river.

Would it be worth saying which stretch of rivere this happened on so that any Dogsey members can keep an eye out for him - and have you posted on Dogslost, just in case?

I think Archie is still in South America if I am right ?

I am so so sorry - but having said that is there any way he could have got out further down - do they have a system for lost dogs where you are ?

So sad for you but hopeful that perhaps Archie might have got out further downstream. Wish I was closer to help you look for your wee boy

i truly hope that archie has that typical terrier determination and has got out downstream, i really do.

keep us updated and if can do anything please ask.

take care
dani

Thank you - as Brundog said he was in South America and it's not exactly a small river. Many people drown in it every year so there's not a big chance he would have been able to get out

Unfortunately I'm in the US at the moment so can't even look for him. I feel awful.

And here are some photos from after we moved to Colombia

oh, I'm so sorry, I didn't realise; I remember seeing photos of Archie, but missed the thread about the move.

Hopeless as it seems, you never know. I'll be keeping everything crossed for you and Archie just in case.

How very sad. I just hope upon hope that Archie managed to get out of the river and that he will be home with you soon.

You must be going out of your mind with worry
