stupid thing to do.....

i resigned from my job yesterday.... cause i have another

problem is for my new job i need my birth certificate and i cant find it........ i only have a copy which is not acceptable.... how can i get another copy asap??

so now without this i cant go wiht my new job as its all ded secure place etc .....

i think the student finance place has it... but cant be sure

You need to contact where they register marriages, births and deaths, you have to pay a small amount and fill out forms, i had to do this when i got my daughter her first passport as we only had the short version and they wanted the full one

Not sure if it has to be the same one as where your birth was registered though, which could be a problem if you've moved from where you were born but i'm sure they will tell you

ok panic over!!!!

going tomorow morning thank god!

problem is now - my passports run out lol!!! so have to find proof of who ia m another method

i really am starting to loose it now!!! i want this job soooo much its unreal.....

least i know i have a job over xmas - my old boss with have me back so thats good

An expired passport can still be used as proof of ID

oh!?

other problem is - i dont know where the he11 it is!!!

im reporting it as missing tomorow,,,,,,

i dont see how they could have both gone

i think ive sent it off to student finance and not got it back

which is quite scary really........

you cant use an expired passport as proof! if you have a drivers license with you pic on that should be ok

I beg to differ, you still had to prove who you were to get it, including supplying your birth certificate. You can't travel on an expired passport but other than that you shouldn't get rid of it.

As far as i understand it (i could be wrong) you can use an expired passport as proof of ID as long as its not more than 2 years old (2 years expired)

still dont know where it is though lol

i need 3 forms of iD -birth cert,drivers lisence and other (bank book etc)

so as of tomorow i should have that......

fingers crossed - if not i have another couple of jobs lined up.....
