Coooo - eeee, I'm back!!

We returned from our cruise to Norway, Iceland and Ireland yesterday. We had a great time, good food, good company and loads of fun, and better weather than here in the UK
So here are the holiday piccies to bore you

This particular morning I misread the travel clock. It folds out of a case and hadn't been opened up properly. I thought it said 7am (we wanted to be up to see the arrival at Bergan) but it actually said 6am, still we saw the sun rise over Bergan

Olden, Norway, were we had delicious Norwegian pancakes, jam and cream.

Up in the clouds, in Olden.

Akureyri, Iceland. Our ship parked in the fjord.

The bubbling mud pools in Reykjavik, you cannot imagine the stink of sulpher .

Thanks for looking. It already seems a long time ago

That was quick Jen!!! Wow, what a fantastic place to go and so different to the norm too! A friend of Dave's is going there this November, he's been there before and loves the place. Don't they have 24 hour days too or nights, I seem to remember the clock is very different up there with the light??? I know what I mean anyway!!! Lol! So glad you enjoyed it, and those pancakes look scrummy,mmmmmmmmxxxx

I know what you mean H, but that is further north and earlier in the year.
It is the second time we have been, we don't like the sun and it is such a beautiful place.

Trixybird, you could regret asking for more, I only took 395 piccies

Here is me and him up a mountain in Flaam Norway.

And one of the hairpin bends our coach driver had to negotiate on the way down;

Funny thing was one of our party left her video camera in the hotel at the top and the driver reversed back round the first bend for her to go and get it. My seat was very nearly brown I can tell you

Welcome back Jen, seems like you had a good time and those pancakes look yummy, that last photo looks just like the bend we have on the approach to our house

BTW I just loved the bit about the captain 'parking' his boat in the fjord let's hope there's no ex-mariners on here
