Wormer

Just wondered which wormers everyone uses?
I've been using 'wormout' since it kills all intestinal worms and is almost half the price of drontal.

Hi Archer
Would you give a few more details please eg manufacturer, where to buy and importantly what is in it, please (MDR1 sensitivity issue).
Cheers
Mary

I use Milbemax for milo as he can't tolerate Drontal or some of the others, but I use Drontal Plus for Shady.

Cheers...loads cheaper and similar pharmaceutically to drontal.
Won't do milbemax due to potential sensitivity in herding breeds (not all suffer though). Many thanks
Mary

Asti was always sick on Drontal so she was put onto Panacur (I think thats the right spelling) and she's been fine on it ever since.

I have recently started using a herbal wormer called Verm-X.

My pup was always ill after using Drontal, and the Panacur powder doesn't seem that palatable, even when refrigerated. I am not keen on using chemicals, so will use this alternative for a few months to try and assess how effective it is.

I have also used a herbal flea/tick treatment for a long while with good results.

Panacur 10% Suspension from Mole Valley Farmers.
About half the price the vet charges.
