Anyone On Dogsey Give Blood?

Just interested really, I went the other week to have a go but they wouldn't let me - I have been "withdrawn"!

As it turns out they've got a huge file full of reasons why you can't give Blood, it's any wonder there's a shortage!

So anyone on here fortunate enough to be allowed to give Blood?!

I know, it's like a challenge! I was hoping to get a free anaemia test, but I didn't get that far!

I know it's taken me over a year to get round to it and I don't even have a kid (thank god for small mercies, eh?! ).

Hahahaa I spat my coffee at that woman, it really is though, my mum got turned away for being too small! (well, too light, you have to be over 8 stone? She is only 4ft 11 though!) She has given it a few times when she has been over, they never even weighed me I was gutted, I wanted them to pretend like it wasn't THAT obvious I was fat enough!

I did for years before I started flying, then you have to wait a certain amount of time before giving again. So i didn't for three years. Haven't got into giving it yet. Mind you I'd need to check If i still can.
