After a long stressful day.......

i have had a very long stressful day
have been on a course training to be a youth worker, was there all day today from 8.30am till 4pm
then at 5.30pm had to go to college till 9pm for my teacher training
came home shattered, just sat down and the door knocked
my eldest daughter had driven up from Essex to see me
well that was a surprise in itself but he even bigger surprise was she has gone from a blonde to a brunette
and now my two girls look so alike
what do you think??

they really do look a lot alike don't they. Sam suits the brunette as well as the blonde I think.

Ohh a youth worker.. Thats what I do.. For the last 7years..I love my job.. (AND we just got a pay rise..from 9.56 to 11.36..something to do with single status..means nothing to me..but I like the extra money LOL)

i have finished my youth worker course now, it is only level 2 and just so i can do voluntary youth work in our area
it is something i am very interested in and loved the course
we are off to Dublin in October to look at youth centers out there and the way they work
the money you get is excellent

i doubt we will have paid youth work here as we aint even got a community center or youth center yet

I love my work too..means I can act like a kid AND get paid for it LOL..And get to do all the stuff we don't any more..Pantomimes, Gala Parades etc..

Thats a shame that you don't have a youth centre..we have a council building that is just for our clubs..its run down and tatty but its ours... Rumour is they are knocking it down..but we have no where to go!!

yes i also love the pantos and day trips out
we have been given the land after 4 years of fighting, we now just need funding for a building, so annoying as the kids here have nothing and yet we have 6 people training as youth workers
just need a portacabin somewhere
