I feel like a new woman now!!!

Well, I've just paid my first visit to a sports injury clinic guy who is only down the road from me on the recommendation of a good friend. Boy and boy, is he goooooood!!! I have been unable to sleep properly since about Christmas with back/hip/leg pain down one side, and although this guy really, really, really, but really hurt me with his deep massaging and pressure points where it hurt so much, all the pain has miraculously gone!!! He found a rib half way up my back which was out of its socket and he said that could have caused all the other pains further down because of a great big muscle that stretches from the neck down to the lower back alongside the spine. I heard a great big click as he was pressing so hard all up one side, and I immediately felt somuch better! He's a miracle worker, and I'll never go back to a bone cruncher (osteopath!) again!

I told him I wasn't one of his great big strapping rugby players as he was hurting me so much, but he answered with "well, your back feels like it belongs to one!" He said he's never come across such a hard and knotted up back, it was like concrete! I'm going back for more next week, coz he says I need to continue with 4 more treatments, but the first thing I noticed afterwards was what a mess the rest of me feel in, because the back is just wonderful now, it's my neck/arms/shoulders that feel so bad now which of course I didn't notice so much before he sorted the back out!

Yipeeeeeee, I will be able to sleep tonight now!

He's very famous too, he said he's done John Travolta many times when he visited a hotel up the road, as well as Lenny Henry no less, and now he's done me, he says that's another famous person to add to his list! I got on with him like a house on fire and we did laugh together even though he was hurting me sooooooooo - big ouch!!!

If you've got any pains, try a sports injury therapist you can't go wrong!

Sorry to hear that Jackie, and thanks Fudgeley. When he's finished with all the work he's got to do on me, he might even get me into that gym of his and I can lose this flabby bit I've now developed on my stomach - well, he is a miracle worker isn't he!!!

£45 quid for the first half hour today (which felt like longer, a lot longer!!!! ), and then it's going to be £32 for each treatment I have from now on, all lasting half an hour apparently? Vicki, you ought to go to one with your back, these chiro's and osteopaths don't make me feel half as good as this bloke has!
