Show Us Your Teeth - the Winners !

Well what fun I had judging this class, the photos were wonderful and many of them made me laugh out loud. Thanks so much to everyone who entered - I wish there were prizes for you all. Thanks to Patch for inviting me to judge and to Shaza for a great job collating.

First prize in the solo dog section had to go to this wonderful full set of sparkling white knashers - I don't think I'd be putting my finger in there


Second place had to go to this girl, she made me smile everytime I looked at the picture - she's just so happy to be showing her teeth off.


Third place went to this dog for doing his very best to not only let me see his teeth but his tonsils too


Fourth place to this dog, for such a broad smile that just makes you smile back.


I've awarded Fifth place to a gorgeous girl that I admire very much - I hadn't realised what a great set of teeth she had before though.


I really couldn't make up my mind between these two for sixth place, they swapped over so many times until I gave up trying to choose and decided to take the easy option of a joint award. Both fabulous (if a little scary) pics

And now on to the group awards, for two or more dogs.

First place just had to go to this amazing photo. It jumped out at me straight away and I never found anything else to better it. Wonderful picture of two dogs having great fun...they do look more than a little mad though!


I chose this picture for Second place as it made me laugh so much - little pup trying to copy and look as scary as her playmate


Third place goes to these two fun loving pooches - two great sets of teeth


Fourth place goes to these two dogs because I thought it was impressive to be showing your teeth for the judge while competing in a tug-o-war contest.


Fifth place in this class had to go to these two dogs, out having a ball in the field...gorgeous dogs - gorgeous teeth!


Sixth place goes to these two athletic dogs...I wouldn't want to come back down to earth to land in those teeth

I asked our Show Secretary if I could award two specials in this class.

An honorary award for this rather bizarre entry, even though it was NFC I thought it deserved some recognition out of respect for the original owner of the tooth!


A Special goes to this dog. I kept coming back to this picture...the class is called show us your teeth and this dog doesn't appear to have any - lovely gums though
