sky ( african grey)

Well, i don't know were to start.....
the other day sky deceided to let herself out her cage, by opening a side door (bless her)
The dogs are in the kitchen at night, so the 1st thing we do is let them out etc.
Well i got a call on the intercom (our phone) from my OH who was downstairs, asking me to help get sky back in.
She avoids it like the plague.
He managed to get the dogs back in the kitchen and i came down to sky on his shoulder............
He only knew she was out because she was walking along the floor, telling bud to back off ( which he did) probably didn't know what to do.
Then she flew up on top of the lovebirds cage, which caught his and hollys eye.
Toby on the other hand didn't even know she was out until mark told him to go in the kitchen with sky on his shoulder.
Since then she has learnt to bark in her version like a dog.... i'm sure i have a bonkers parrot.

I don't let them mix, toby would stick his nose in and she would nip him, hol is handy with her feet so would probably bop sky.
But the main reason is when she flys it gets a reaction from the dogs.
So all in all no harm was done, except she now has locks on the side doors.

That was really funny.
Glad no harm came to Sky or the dogs for that matter.

Some pics of Sky would be nice.

Hope the locks on the cage prevent any more houdini escapes.

I would have liked to see it as well, but i would have paniced with her on the floor.
Apparently she puffed herself up with wings open and jumped towards him.
Needless to say sky got 1 up on bud......
Yep i have pics of the madame who has just turned 2.

Looks can be decieving, she can be a right madam, she knows what she wants and isn't scared of telling you.
Although i wouldn't be without her, she has just learnt her version of thank you.
And the sound of a squeeky toy........
