HM Revenue & Customs Letter

Has anybody else had a letter saying........

I am writing to make a personal apology. A copy of some HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) data about families, including yours has been lost etc etc etc

I'm asuming lots of other people have had the same ?

Mine arrived yesterday - they should have saved the money on those letters and tightened security!

Have you provided you rP60 info for previous years ?

We're now stuck with repayments for over payment on family tax credit (direct debit form sat here)

The daft thing is the credit has been stopped, we set up direct debit to give them what we owe - then they start our payments again.

So we'll be paying them what we owe while they pay us what we're due.

For some reason they wont calculate the two together as it's different departments that deal with debts and payments.
