Sony HDRSR5 Camcorder with 40gb hard drive

Looking at buying one of the above, does anybody have one if so what do they think of them:

Specifications for SONY "HDRSR5" Camcorder This high definition camcorder shoots in genuine 1080i resolution for the most realistic playback you've ever seen on your full HD television 40Gb Hard drive. 10 x optical zoom. 80 x digital zoom. 2.7-ins LCD widescreen. Photo capture at 4 megapixel resolution. Supersteady shot, Carl Zeiss lens, surround sound, One touch disc burn, built in flash. Handycam station. 5 hour battery stamina. Memory stick duo slot. USB 2.0. Recording FormatHDV Optical Zoom10x Digital Zoom80x LCD Panel Size2.7" FeaturesMemory Stick, USB, USB 2.0, Audio (RCA)

I've always had Sony camcorders, but fancied one with a hard drive, rather than a dvd or tape.

Just a quick update: have now had the above camcorder just over 2 weeks and it's absolutely fab. easy to use, lightweight, the stills camera is excellent and the HD quality video fantastic, I can't fault it at all so far!

the pictures I posted of Petal and Flora, under dog pictures section, were taken on the still camera of the camcorder. Excuse the tear staining, she's teething at the moment poor baby.

Nigel is thinking of getting one of these camcorder's, so it's nice to know you are really pleased with it. Terrific pic too
