Great pic Kirsty.

Isn't this what moving to Scotland was all about for you?

I'm kind of used to it now but it was (albeit a while ago) a steep learning curve for me...Opening the back door at bed time to see Skye and Fingal charging down the garden to chase away the deer.

Thanks Phil.

The countryside, wildlife and also obviously the shepherding side of things is what brought me to Scotland (as well as my OH of course ) and it is fantastic to be living well and truly in the countryside. I lived in a small village in North Lancashire, but still had neighbours etc but up here our nearest neighbour is about a mile away. It is just a shame for me that we live on a large private shooting estate, because that means that much of the wildlife I love to see just isn't around here ... if I drive just off the estate though I can see plenty, so can't complain too much
