I bought units from B&Q, but worktop, tiles, taps from various places online. I think it depends what you want. B&Q units are very good value, and so are the worktops if you want laminate. We wanted solid wood worktops, which are crazy prices in B&Q, so we got ours from www.kitchen-worktops-plus.co.uk - beautiful wood, good service too, and the prices were great. B&Q fitting is VERY expensive, and getting any component from elsewhere rules it out anyway. MFI - similar quality units to B&Q - charge a bit more for their units, but a LOT less for fitting, so if you want a whole-package, they're worth a look. Sinks and taps are worth paying a bit extra for. Have a good look in show rooms and check the build-quality. We identified the tap we wanted in John Lewis, then found it a lot cheaper online. Don't be fooled by IKEA stainless steel sinks - they look great, and are really thick and strong, but stainless steel is NOT supposed to rust, especially within a month of being installed

Hope this helps.
