Cell Dogs

Anyone ever seen Cell Dogs on Animal Planet where stray and abandoned dogs are trained by inmates in a prison. The dogs are rehabilitated and cared for by the prisoners over a 8 week period and then given to new families. I watched it on Friday night and have never cried so much in all my life . it was lovely to see the relationship these men built with the dogs, before having to let them go and start a fresh with another dog - it was remarkable but heartwrenching . It also made me realise that my Olive needs some serious training, I've taken 2 and a half years to teach her a fraction of what these men taught their dogs in 8 weeks ops: .

Yes, I saw it a while back - it is very touching isn't it. I thought the idea was superb, what a shame they don't do it over here (to my knowledge).
