Shaving Whiskers

What are your guys' thoughts on shaving dogs' whiskers?? Do you do it??

Yes i do trim the whiskers on my dogs as i find that it gives the dogs more defined look, and some judges prefer the whiskers removed. It does look neater

No I have much more enjoyable things to do with my Dogs than cut there whiskers off

I find it totally sad that a Dog would need to lose whiskers to look better in the ring its madness imo.

its a bit of a worry if a judge cant assess a dogs conformation unless it is whiskerless

The only benefit I can think of is that it would stop me getting spiked in the face when he gives me a kiss but no I don't trim his whiskers - I love my boy just the way he is!

OH yes I forgot about that!! I once got a whisker stabbed right up my nose made my eyes water

I've never trimmed any of my dogs whiskers, they're there for a reason

I've felt like it sometimes though, especially when they've caught me in the eye
