OMG I'm so excited!!

Well as you can guess I've gone a bit mad over the past few days My pup is due to be coming home soon when I wake up from my dream!! but is it normal to be nervous? Many people have said that am I sure I'm doing the right thing? I am although I do sometimes think " WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING?"

Is this right? Will I be ok?
Haz xx

Its totally normal. I think we all hope that we can do our best for the little bundle being entrusted to us. I know I did. But you will be fine. There is lots and lots of support and advice available to you on Dogsey and the best thing to do is enroll in some puppy classes. These are great fun and fabulous socialisation for your puppy. Best thing of all is just relax and enjoy. Thats what everyone on here told me when I posted a very similar thread and once I did this I was fine. We want lots of pics xx

I almost had panic attacks when I had decided to get Moss - I kept thinking of all the things that could go wrong, rather than enjoying the excitement of the build up It was fine, of course - just as it will be for you and your pupster too

I didn't get a wink of sleep the night before I got Zeus, I was just so excited and nervous as well, so you're not alone. Just enjoy the lil fella, and as has been pointed out, there are so many peeps on here with excellent advice if you need it

You sound perfectly normal to me

As the others have said, you're so excited and also a little worried that you'll do the right things for the pup, but you'll be fine.

I'm looking forward to hearing all about the newcomer and seeing lots of photos

Yes, I kept thinking I had done the wrong thing and wouldn't be good enough to look after Oscar and it seemed such a resposibility. But once he was home, everything just fell into place. I have to say that this forum was a huge help though.

God! I even started worrying that it was cruel to part her from her littermates and then thinking I would forget to feed her and stuff

I'll be very surprised if you do everything right first time, but you'll pick it up pretty quick! Just don't forget to enjoy yourself
