ive just been nominated the new ref

At footy training tonight i had a shock of a surprise they have been running a poll between coaches and other refs at the footy to see if they could encourage us mums to ref games when they are short handed well what a shock i got every one nominated for me to be the new ref for the boys team me a ref there having a laugh aint they.
They all said i would be great at it because i show so much interest in the boys matches always putting up the goal posts on a sunday morning always there for training and turning up at every match and when watching i notice whats a fowl and free kick im excited and scared at the same time but why not its all fun

Used to be a mother who helped out when I run kids footy team. She "reluctantly" refereed a couple games during a end of season tournament.... She enjoyed it so much she went and sat all the training courses and badges and is now refereeing in the Junior leagues and is highly respected as one of the best refs in the North East of Scotland.....
