What should we avoid giving dogs?

Now that I have cleared up whether or not dogs can have chocolate,I was wondering if there were any other foods that are an absolute No No for dogs.

grapes they are toxic to dogs

and raisins....(same thing though I guess.....)

Thanks for that,I thought raisins were ok,Aston loves them.Well he won't have them anymore!!!

Grapes, Raisins, Onions, green bits in potatoes, walnuts, all highly toxic to name a few, oh and one many wont know as its fairly recent, or just not well publicised I should say - Turkey skin is now being linked, [ subject to further confirmation as I understand it ], to causing acute pancreatis in dogs.

More detailed info is what you probably want though, and I can`t find my usual prefered resource on it, [ still finding my lost bookmarks because of stoopid PC being reformatted ], but this one will do til I can find it again hopefully

NO Grapes/Sultanas/Currants etc - Very Poisoness
NO Cows Milk - Dogs are Lactose intollerant (Goat's Milk is fine)
NO Human grade chocolate - Toxic to dogs
NO Onions
NO Cooked Bones
NO Alcohol or caffiene (Including Tea)
Bread & Cooked Potatoes (too much can cause bloat)
NO Raw potatoes

There is more, but can't think right now.....lol
I always say, if in doubt, don't risk it !

It always amazes me how Woody is still alive as he's regulary (and I mean regularly) stolen many raw potatoes over the years. But then that's Labs for you - iron stomach!
