hey - is it safe for a bitch to be wormed prior to being bred

hey gys is it safe to worm your dog if she is going to be bred???? i have heard its not but i wonder if it is help me in anyway that would be great

Yes, you should check with your vet though which dewormers to use, some are Ivermectin (based) and Im not sure if there is a risk with that. Weve usually used Panacur. Plus your in UK and my experience is in US, there are different products used, some that are approved in US are not approved in UK and vice versa. But like I said, generally you want to get the bitch dewormed prior to breeding and some cases they will be dewormed during pregnancy.

Heres a guideline of the worming schedule, I dont know much about this particular website but the information on this is pretty much across the board.
