wolfy left patch of urine after he got up

HI folks wondered if any 1 else has had this problem & what u did!!!!!!!!
wolfy got up from his bed today & left a large wet patch behind ,hes leaking urine a bit also, i know hes old ,should i inform the vet about this possibly ,not sure theres much they can do for male dogs is there?

Your dog could have an infection so yes it is a good idea to see the vet, he may have an enlarged prostate that means urine is retained after he has 'been' and leaks out after. Is he castrated?

Even more reason to see a vet he may have a problem with his prostate, unlikely but worth checking out.

Hiya this started happening to my old girl not too long ago & I thought old age. But it was a urine infection, so take a fresh sample of his urine with you to vets for testing. It cleared up with a/b`s & no probs since

He's had his prostate checked recently as did this a few weeks ago too!!!!but will take in a fresh urine sample i think anyway.Thanx for the suggestions guys

My MIL's dog (he's 17) recently started that - turned out to be a bladder infection and cleared up with pills from the vet

Fingers crossed for wee Wolfy xxx
