climate change

has anyone been following all the recent news about climate changes and global warming ?

I've an assignment on the Kyoto protocol and how the earths climate is changing- its pretty scarey when you start looking into it
One comment was that Britian could become like Siberia in the next twenty years

I haven't been following it particularly but when I look back to how the seasons were when I was younger there was a definate difference between the seasons unlike this year where there didn't appear to be any seasons as such.

It is a very frightening thought Lel, that in twenty years we could become like Siberia

the only thing I have noticed is that we have not had a lot of snow over the last 10 years or so.

one of the worrying things is that the USA will not sign up to the Kyoto protocol and being such a HUGE country its a big issue

I watched a prog a few months ago saying that it was all cooling down due to the gulf stream cooling down we need that warm water for us to keep our weather such as it is. Britain will be covered in snow and ice cold enough for ice to form in the channel and the north sea.

But just south of us France will be red hot.

Typical we still freeze and everyone else gets a sun tan.

I don't think it would that bad at least we will have plenty of water and we would get better at skiing.
