Vitamin B12 Advice please - correct dose for dog?

I don't know if anyone out there can help me on this one please, but would anybody know what dosage it is safe to give a dog of the human tablet of Vitamin B12??? My vet didn't have the injection of this vitamin, but he said it would be safe to give her the human tablet form but in my dilema with 2 dogs and all that, I forgot to ask him how much to give! I know it is dangerous to O.D on B vitamins, so maybe I should just phone him tomorrow and ask I suppose. I just wondered if anybody out there uses these at all? Thanks if you can help.

I would phone your vet tomorrow, I give my dogs Brewers yeast tabs they have B6 in them not too sure if B12 is in there too? but they get two tabs a day each.

Thanks mo, I think you're right coz these are pure B12's and I know it can be quite dangerous to OD on vitamin B's can't it! Thanks anyway for your input.

H, I'd definately wait and speak to your vet tomorrow. It may be measured in relation to the weight, so someone else's answer won't bear any relevance to Cass
