Honey we're killing the kids - did anyone watch it?

It was on TV a little while back.

The program looked at the lifestyles of a few families and showed the parents what kind of future their children might have if they continued their current lifestyles.

Not just what they ate, but general life style such as too much TV, not enough interaction/conversation with their parents, no 'real' mind-expanding hobbies etc

I wish every parent on the planet watched it!!

Did anyone see it? what did you think of it?

I watched it It was horrible to see pictures of the children as they grew up if they didn't change what they ate.

I agree with healthy eating anyway and i also don't think it's right for a parent to smoke around there children, so i was really chuffed when she told the parents to quit

I still watch it on bbc3 sometimes

Yeah I watched it a couple of times, it was really good.

Scary how inactive most of the families were though.

Ive seen it but think alot of its scaremongering and trash TV,although interesting.More so for those of us who are parents.I think common sense should really be enough.

I think its typical tv - making a drama out of a crisis! It fills a viewing slot but I agree with Mick that its all common sense really - do parents REALLy need to be told what I am sure they already know.

God thats awful - I would kill mine if they ever dared touch a cigarette but I know they are too sensible for that. Laura absolutely hates cigarettes and the smell of them because a lot of people smoke coming home on the bus from school, so I very much doubt she would ever do it. I can't understand parents who let their children smoke underage.
