Earlier on I put turned the grill on, phone rang & I forgot about it started hearing clicking noises & remembered so went in kitchen & turned it off but the nobs just went round & round its got a temp button so turned that down as low as it goes 50, thought maybe wehn it cooled down I`d be able to switch it off but no it just goes round & round all the time

Haven`t a clue what to do next, any ideas anybody

is it gas or electric???

Electric ovens usually have a powerpoint switch at the wall..switch it off there. Its maybe just the knob itself that is broken..try and prise the plastic knob off and use pliers or grips and turn the control spindle around.

Huya its electric double oven fitted into wall & its the top oven/grill that won`t turn off

I`ve looked evrywhere for the main plug to turn it all off, can`t find it :cryIts not an ordinary round knob thing off its oval, longish & you can push it in to go flush with test of oven i can`t get it out. Its been since about 11.11.30 I turned it on

going to try again thanks
