Blue Throated Conure

I drove a 5 hour round trip to pick up my new bird today

He's a very rare Blue Throated Conure! I had to get a permit and everything for him But he's here and he's lovely We've named him Ky and he's such a sweet little guy. He's all snuggled up in my hair right now

Oooh, and instead of screaming like most birds, he makes a REALLY cute noise - Kind of like laughing! Its adorable!!

I was able to put him together with my green cheek conure yesterday after a vet check (Just incase!), here's some pics... I think they're in love

Thanks guys! They're still in love! Though they're beating up my other parrot really badly They keep chasing him and biting his tail and feet so i cant have them out together. Conures are evil!

I will have to keep an eye on them though as the breeder seems to think i have a pair (that the new one is actually female not male like we thought!!) and i dont really want them to breed!! If they did it wouldn't be for a couple of years so i wont worry too much now lol!
