mine were scared of the hoop at the beginning and we found by putting the hoop on the floor the dogs would start to go to the hoop then gradually lift the hoop a little bit reasuring your dogs do this each and everytime. once they get used to the hoop standing up wards throw toys through the hoops they think its a game and they will gradually go through it takes abit of practice and time but well worth it in the end

Yes, just leave the hoop lying around on the floor for a few days and occasionally put a treat close by or in the hoop. They will soon discover that it is nothing to be alarmed about. Then try getting them to walk through the hoop, rather than jump through it. It is a good idea to hold the hoop in a dooway so that they cannot bolt round the side and to put a treat on the floor that they can get if they walk through the hoop Gradualy increase the height of the hoop from the floor

Hiya,
You could also try secirung the hoop in a doorway so it doesn't move it all and spend sometime doing recalls/retreives etc. between two people one either side of the doorway.
