Scanners

Anyone got a decent scanner that you would recommend highly?

Not sure what brand to buy - don't want to pay a fortune, we had an Agfa that lasted a whopping 3 months so wanting to buy something that is reliable, with great resolution but is sold for a song.

Thanks for your help.

Yes I've got a similar thing copier/scanner/printer from Epson, it's a CD6400 it's quite big but fits under my computer desk on the shelf......I would highly recommend it.

I don't think you can ever go wrong with HP for printers or scanners

Thanks guys

Not a fan of HP not because of the quality but they used to be a former client of my old work

But Epson are pretty reliable so might go down this route

I have a Canoscan LiDE 50 scanner - it is slimline and used LEDs instead of cold cathode tube. This means that it is powered entirely through the USB cable.

That model isn't available anymore, but try the LiDE 60 (1200 X 2400 dpi) or LiDE 80 (2400x4800 dpi )

I won't go with HP as I don't want my former company to benefit from my sale
