Smoke Alarms

Don't laugh, but all night I have been thinking about smoke alarms I dunno why, I haven't been watching anything with fire in (which normally has me checking them) its just been there at the back of my mind Anyway I have checked mine and all is ticketyboo, can everyone just check theirs is in working order too I think its one of those things that some of us forget to do!

usually you don`t have to check them if they are with a battery when the battery runs down they start peeping

Thanks for the reminder, although ours was checked not long ago by the alarm guy, and anyway, I set it off at least once a week via the kitchen

I check mine weekly, with 4 children and 6 dogs in the house it's better to be safe than sorry.

Well I know the downstairs one is okay because Laura set it off yesterday toasting Potato cakes Must check the one upstairs though, I always forget about that one - thanks for the reminder

I check mine everyday, i just do some cooking and the stupid thing goes off!
