Tis Tuesday 20th September 2022

Good Morning folks. Hope you all had a good evening. Bit chilly first thing but it looks to be a good sunny day soon. Hope you all have a good day.

Good afternoon Brenda hope your day is going well

Up early this morning for the school run. Took Teazle out just after 6.00 am not a soul to be seen. Been to the dentist for a check up, all good for 6 months.

Ben started his new job today and by 11.15 am he still had not got there. He is only gong to Lewis, about 40 mins down the road and allowed himself 1.25 hours. Accident on the A27 and diverted to Newhaven and from there it would seem it took them all the way back to the start, So told him another way up the A22 but no doubt he will get lost again. He doesn't have a good sense of direction and his SATNAV, like them al,l keeps telling him to go a different way. Haven't heard anything more so hopefully he finally arrived there. He had contacted them so they know the difficulty he is having.

Hope all are well. Take care.

Sometimes the train is quicker or shanks's pony. My morning was not good, backwards and forwards to the shop because a bag of chocolate had gone off with heat bloom. So I wasn't supposed to have them anyway.

Good evening Sue, brenda and anyone else to follow.
Started off sunny and ended up chilly and cloudy but no rain.

We stopped at a lovely place for breakfast on our way to the Crich tram museum. Expensive but brilliant and our ticket remains valid for a year, I do get a little upset these days when we ask for senior tickets and they don't question our age.
We had a ride on the open top tram all included in the ticket price, then onto the Denby shopping village.
We got a little pee'd off while having breakfast we happened to look up the room prices thinking they would be extortionate but 3 nights would of in fact been cheaper than here, that is difficult to park, stairs like we had back in Upwell before Gorden improved them, a microwave induction single hob plate and combi microwave.
We tried to do toast in the toaster and the fire alarm went off it actually hurt our ears.
Also last night we had a ready meal as nothing would be open and it went off again.
Uncomfortable sofa and generally we are a little disappointed. So to find a hotel room which looked lovely for less money was a bit disheartening.

We will pop you in Joel's case Chris. Glad to read Rosie is improving.
Sue what a busy day. Again.
Lauren has said she hopes we are rested Freya is in a miserable mood again. Teeth no doubt.
Hope Ben got to work in the end and that his return is less of a hassle.
brenda hope the chocolate fiasco got sorted satisfactorily.

We went back this evening for dinner. Gorden was saying this might be our last stay away in self catering or b&b or hotels.
He wants to get cracking on buying a caravan when we get back. We have a number to call to store it and our friends have said drop their name and there should be no problem getting a space for when we find a suitable one.
