Daily Chat Saturday 4th December

Good morning everyone

Sorry the neighbour doesn't want to understand that the fault lies with her house and not yours Kelly. Dogs bark but as long as it is not all day everyday nobody will do a thing about it. I thought they were going?

Hope Dillon had another good night Lynn

Wet start to the day but managed to get out without getting too wet. All Christmas cards now posted.

Off to the house to change light fittings, hang curtain rails and fit the tv. The carpets are now being fitted on Monday. Have told them they must be there by 8.00am and do the lounge first as we are expecting a delivery of beds anytime between 7.00am and 7.00pm so a long day ahead. Ben will have to go early as I have a hair appointment at 10.45 then I will rush over there to relieve him so he can go to the airport to pick the girls up. They land just after 14.00 so don't expect them through for at least an hour or even two as they will the last ones off the plane as they have to be escorted through and taken to Ben.

Hope all are well. The care

Good morning all

Bright here off to get some bits and pieces and then start preparation for decorating as on holiday this week. That bug virus thing really threw me l think.

Tomorrow afternoon a meal out with some friends tomorrow for a birthday/Christmas get together just the 6 of us., not been out at all to speak of for a while so will be nice catch-up.

Sue how lovely the girls arriving, maybe keeping so busy that day will be enough to keep your excitement nerves in but this is running close. Has your son booked some time off to settle them in as it will be all totally different have they lived in the UK before (all be it years ago)

Griff Along with Sue I thought the neighbours were on the move or did they say that just to raise your hopes.

Chris Hope all is good for you.

Moyra When have you got an appointment for hospital have to say my Aunt was much better with the medication for heart failure.

Brenda Is this puppy love . So pleased you you are getting to enjoy this doggie interaction does it make you want to restart training larger scale or similar? here are the owners chuffed as well?

Lynn So the issue with Dillon's sleeping is/was discomfort then hope last night went as well I think your thinking of not being to dozy due to the tablets is a good one plus it gives you somewhere to go to increase to the three times a day if needed, all I think you are wanting (correct me if wrong) is for him to be comfortable enough at night to sleep.

Right people off for my day catch you all later.

Morning Sue, Kazz and all to follow.
Wet here today underfoot but sun is shining on and off.
Yes Kazz you are correct all we want is for him to be comfortable daytime and nighttime especially as that is when he seemed to struggle shifting about all night and in and out.
Last night he had his 2nd dose of Gabapentin at 9pm and we went to bed at 10 pm first time together in I think 6 to 7 weeks and not being disturbed and getting out of bed when it all started on 28th of June.
He slept till 5 am, I got up he was on the sofa with me for 1/2 hour then went onto the floor and we both slept till 6.45am when Gorden got up.
We think he is feeling more comfortable again as we walked down the lane onto the park and although only a couple of hundred yards less resting. We did however have two right back leg stumbles and two front right leg stumbles nothing now can stop the progress of that but we can for however long keep the pain he must of been in easier for him.
So now he has Librela every 4 weeks, 6 Pardale daily and 4 Gabapentin daily all for pain. Plus his Vivitonin not a pain reliever.
He is eating better again to yesterday 10 ozs 3 times and 10 ozs for breakfast so far today. It seems to be the cooked beef mince mixed in with his tinned food doing the trick.

griff so hard when people won't take responsibility for their actions and put the blame on everyone else.
Sue the excitement of the children arriving Monday must be hard to contain.
Good luck with all the last minute jobs.
Kazz enjoy your meal. My other brother was saying his family have had that virus and how it knocked them out to. He said he was lucky he dodged it.
brenda glad you are enjoying the training.

Keep safe and well everyone.

Sue.....it sounds like a military operation!!
Ooooooo decorating Kazz
Lynn pleased Dillon seems more settled.
Yes, she said they had been given notice in June.....but I think that she has wormed her way into staying, one thing though, if it's so awful and noisy,.....why stay?? You rent it, not own it. Spoke to dad today and he said she was trying to point the finger at the end house, said " don't you hear their car doors slamming etc" he said no we bloody don't ! See again, trying to blame others for her daughter's behaviour....funny how everytime someone rares up, the noise stops but with "mental problems" the behaviour wouldn't be able to be controlled... because they can't help it, as my nice neighbour, Steve and several others have said..... it's the fact she can't/ won't discipline her daughter and my mate said for mental health problems, read spoilt b*tch

Right cracking day going on here, no idea why think it is simply because I feel (NOT WANTING TO JINX IT) but so much better.

Dog treble walked and had a lovely late home cooked lunch of pork chop, mash, carrots, stuffing and gravy yummy. Chatted with friends on the phone generally a nice day. Practicing my gravy skills - yes still doing the MasterChef challenge may even try some of their "proper meals"

One more walk to be done then stop in for the night....Brrrrr

Kazz, I have two hospital appoinments on Tuesday, one for blood test and second for x ray. Then I have three referal letters to hear from the hospital in the next two weeks. I am totally fed up with feeling unwell. Roll on Spring and Summer. Look after yourselves. God bless.
