Newbie with Two

Hello everyone.
I've been in search of a good dog forum, other than [a social network] groups that are mostly about posting pictures/selling puppies and I'm happy that I came across this one.

Little about me: I'm from Oregon, US. I'm with an Aerospace company, I travel a lot, love the outdoors. Just got back from zip lining near the Grand Canyon, that was exciting and now planning to travel to Alaska next month. I bring the dogs with me as much as I can.

I have two dogs, Mr. Bojangles (Bo). My daughter and I adopted him from a shelter about 10 years ago. He was found on the streets with an embedded shock collar. For the life of me I never could understand why anyone thought he needed one. According to the vet they think he is Scottish Terrier with something else. He has horrible skin allergies and is missing about 50% of his fur. He takes 6 pills per day due to it and ear drops for constant ear infections.

And then I have Gunner. Gunner is a little over a year old. He is a Pom/Chi. Very sweet, very clingy and expects to be held all the time. My brother bred his two dogs, Gunner was in the first litter. My brother gave him to our elderly mother who couldn't take care of him, so she asked me to take him. I've had him since he was 9 weeks old. He's my road trip travel buddy.
