Daily Thread Sun Dec 20

Good morning everyone, Ambers waiting for her breakfast am a bit behind this morning.

I don't feel very warm this morning, probably warmer outdoors than in.

Have a lovely day all, hope all is well with everyone, stay warm and dry, and above all safe and well. God bless.

Morning Moyra and all who follow.
Must say it does look chilly out there today Moyra I will find out in a bit when Dillon goes out for his morning wee.

Might of spoken to soon about the rat I could hear noises last night but nothing on the camera. We are hoping it came to get in and couldn't had a try then boogered off.

griff wouldn't of got anywhere near me for a Brazilian. Much prefer the old fashioned method of a razor. Tweezers for eyebrows. I am such a coward.
June hoping the back is feeling less sore today.
LG hoping you have got over your socialising episode and staff christmas party. I expect you are having a lie-down after the bill.

Gorden is popping out for some Christmas shopping today me I should marzipan and ice our cake make some sausage rolls and mince pies and get the hams in the slow cooker.
Also wrap up Gorden's pressies while he is out. We are meant to be popping into Paul and Beth's later for Christmas drinks and nibbles but Paul has been ill (flu), so we are not sure if we are still going. Waiting for a text or phone call to let us know.

Hoping all hoomans and doglets are well today.

Good morning

Hope you didn't find it too cold on your walk with Amber

I'll bet round for some sausage rolls then Lynn Hope Dillon is now leaving his paw alone. Don't go getting flu for Christmas

Dull and did try to rain but decided not too. Teazle walked it was quite warm.. Put a plant in the garden that should have gone in when I got it, hope it survives. Planning on cooking a sponge with jam and coconut on top that should last the two of us to Christmas day. Noticed on my walk quite a number of trees are in bud and some have even got blossom starting to come up. My daffs are still thinking about it but are above ground by about an inch

Good morning to all who follow
Have a good day and stay safe.

Morning all.
You are all making me feel very lazy. All this cooking. Since Brian was diagnosed as Diabetic, I don't do half the baking I used to.
My son is coming in a mo to bring me the DVD of Kyla nativity, so that will be us engrossed for a while!
My Gdaughter took Kyla Christmas shopping yesterday. When she got home and saw her Gdad she couldn't wait to tell him that she had a MacDonalds for lunch. He pretended to sulk and asked where is was. Kyla said "Oh we didn't get you one we got you socks" As my son said thats Christmas sorted then
Right the washing is finished and the sun is out so I had better see to that.

LOL at Kyla Nippy, hope Brian wasn't hoping for a surprise Christmas present, well the surprise will be there isn't one
Sponge sounds wonderful, Sue. I've not done any baking for years, pointless when its only me nowadays. Used to love cooking as well.
Lynn you're very busy, I got my ironing done whilst watching Startrek on 4+1, haven't seen that one before and really enjoyed it. Hoping the rat was trying to get in and gave up and went to look for an easier entrance in someone else's loft.
A lot of them will have been flooded out with all the rain and the rivers being so high so they'll be looking for somewhere warm, dry and out of the wet.Have a nice afternoon if you do get over to Paul and Beths.
Nice sunshine and white fluffy clouds, with a BLUE sky believe it or not, slight breeze as well, but more like a spring day than a few days off Winter Solstice. My plants are going great guns still, so my bulbs never got planted as would have felt mean pulling them all out whilst they were growing.
Got the stairs to hoover and the new floor in the bathroom to mop, then everywhere's done, change bed this afternoon, finish doing prezzies and get stuff to the post office tomorrow, going for shavings and a sack of carrots after I've had girls out tomorrow as well.
Griff, hope mum and dad have a decent journey up here and all goes as well as it can tomorrow. Going to be quite harrowing
