Teenager Aggression??

Hi Guys !
Our "puppy" Myrsky is now 10 Month old. He developed to a very sweet and friendly Dog. But because he is in his teenage phase, there are some issues. We also have a dog trainer to work on his recent appeared lead pulling and worse his over excitement in certain situations.
I hope those things will be under control soon. Something else makes me wondering though. He starts to show some aggression to other males (to 40 % maybe) I could understand if he is just reacting to some aggressive behaviour from the other dog (even when this is not desirable either) but he shows it even when the other dog seems to be calm and nice.
AND he hates Pugs even when he had never bad experience with them, actually only good ones

So now my question is, if it will always be like that and how can I train him to stay calm in those situations? And make him understand that he is safe with me? (command "watch me" only works when we are in a good distance)
those are emotions is it because his testosterone hormones are increasing?
Thanks for reading this long post

Make sure the dog trainer is training you how to and not the dog how to. The dog has to obey you not the trainer. A good trainer will demonstrate with their own dog for you to copy

Wise words from Tumbleweed.
Same sex aggression is common amongst huskies and Mals unfortunately and you have to learn to manage it early on and be aware of the signals and what is going on around you.

yes the trainer shows us how to do with him when he pulls and when he is excited.Mostly he trains with us....but its the aggression more that I want to control better...
actually myrskys father is not aggressive (husky) and people told me that mal's when socialised are usually friendly (if the other dog is so too )...

10 months sexual maturity and he sees all other males as competition. So tries to see them off. It's not always something that can be trained out of, plus we don't know how well socialised he has been. No reputable Dobermann breeder would sell you a male puppy if you already had another male Dobie as the chances are they won't tolerate each other. Some breeds are far more tolerant than others.
As for the Pug issue it's probably the black mask it makes their faces difficult to read for other dogs. Although mine have never had any problems but I read the other dogs.

Thanks Trouble,We started socialise him when he was 3 month old or even younger, we went to the dog park EVERY day,and we still go there. Sometimes I think he reacts aggressive because he feels threatened by a certain male when they send signals I cant see. Thats an explanation with the pugs face, is there anything I can do about ?? :-~

Unfortunately you have a mix of two breeds that sometimes do not get on with other dogs, specially same sex........ most folk I know who own these breeds know this and act accordingly.

Can you change his behaviour, you might if you are lucky, but from my own experience of owning a dog aggressive dog for 11 yrs, you are best to accept the situation and learn to manage it.

You might fond a trainer who will be able to help, and temper down his behaviour, I did`nt, and believe me I tried, I find once back to normal living, things can revert back to the same issues,

I would think the best you can hope for it to be able to be in a situation where you can walk him calmly past other dogs without a reaction, but you may never be able to trust him around other dogs, but then it all depends on why he is becoming aggressive, (is he castrated) it may be genetic (it does not matter of his dad is OK with other dog) it could also be environmental, whats his temperament like, is he a confident dog or a nervous dog, .

Hopefully he is just going through a teenage stage , but my guess would be his genes may be taking over and you will have to just manage his behaviour.

Just another note..........BEWARE of trainers who use stooge dogs to help with your boy

It was the biggest mistake I ever made.
